Week seven in the NFL saw the return of the 2015 NFL International Series to Wembley Stadium featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills. Not only did we have the game itself at Wembley but we also had the return of my favourite International Series fan rally at Regent Street deep in the heart of London on Saturday.
I love the fact that part of our nation's capital has to shut down for the day purely for the NFL fans to enjoy a host of entertainment from player interviews to kicking competitions and various other mini games held throughout the street.
Back to the game now and I know when this fixture was first announced a lot of people were very sceptical and said there would be no point going, the game would be awful, the teams are poor etc etc but man they could not have been more wrong.
The game had big catches, huge turnovers, goalline stops and last minute thrills that just blew the crowd away, check out the highlights below and you can judge for yourself just how great this game was:
After the game at Wembley I got back in time to see what was quickly becoming the destruction of Houston by the Miami Dolphins. Man those Dolphins are really playing like a team possessed ever since the departure of Coach Philbin. By the end of the first quarter the Dolphins were 21 - 0 up on the Texans and by halftime it was 41 - 0, game done and done dusted.
The final score was 44 - 26 to the Dolphins and I really don’t know what is next for Houston and coach O’Brien, the future is not looking bright especially as during the game Arian Foster went down with a suspected Achilles injury that may keep him out for the rest of the season.
I want to come on now to a position that I am sure a lot of us dream about becoming when we are younger and that is the wide receiver. I know that I still quite often dream about making that leaping catch to steal the victory for my team but realistically that’s not going to happen.
Anyways back to the players themselves and it is often taken for granted that if you're a professional receiver of course you should be able to catch the ball but what some of these guys do to make the play is simply outstanding. Take a look at this week's top five catches and let me know what you think about Stefon Diggs’s touchdown catch:
Now that I have peeled myself of the ceiling after watching that catch again let’s take a look at how the league stands after seven weeks of action, seven weeks, I still can’t get over just how quickly this season is flying by, shocking!

If the season was to finish today the six playoff teams would be New England, Indianapolis, Denver, Cincinnati, New York Jets and Pittsburgh. With the way the season has gone so far I wouldn't be upset if this is how it does end up and I can see the AFC Conference game being between New England and Denver this year!

Again if the season was to end today the playoff teams would be New York Giants, Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay, Atlanta and Minnesota. If Minnesota do make the playoffs come the end of the season I will definitely be cheering them on as I really like the way coach Mike Zimmer has them playing and the all seem to have the right attitude as well.
Well that wraps it up from me for another week but be sure to check our podcast ‘Spitball’ later in the week for a full recap of all of the week seven games. Until next time stay safe, take care and ‘Thanks for Stopping By’.
